Not easy being green...

Perhaps I should begin everything I write, large or small, with the fact that every problem in America is rooted in racism. Argue with me as you will, you will be wrong.
For a reason known only to God I jumped up and turned on the TV at 5am today. (Often I am going to bed just then.)
There was a reason why. I usually want to get up early to hear the Oscar nominations, but this was different: There is no one that I like.
Nomination. Judge Alito. First question. Abortion. What's his record? This always leaves me cold, bitter, and superior.
I am simple and not educated in most matters of state. I always ask, however, where in the Constitution of the United States are ideas concerning abortion drawn? Where, even, is the word? How then is there any discussion? Does the Constitution address women's bodies? Gasp! Wouldn't that just blow the DAR off its stiff ass?
So we come to the Christian Right, currently digging its way to Hell, as it fights for power, while cloaked in the word, and only the word, faith. What they want is power. And no abortions. God has told them. Not everyone. But he told them. And now we'll probably get a 6-3 decision in every case heard by the Supreme Court. A Court of politicians who (I use the personal pronoun, because the Court is people, judges, now political people) will strike down abortion one way or another.
That means that the poor, mostly of a hue not white, will resort once more to rusty coat hangers. And often die.
Shall I mention again that every problem, debate, final solution in America is born of racism? I think I shall for, God knows, you'll forget.
